I just can't warm to Ken Block.
Jonathan Tadpole on the other hand...he gives the Audi a good go.
He drove a Loeb Xsara as well recently.

Didn't know that Audi officially built a group S car. By officially the rally team built the car with NO permission or knowledge. Though the Audi was a group B development, to make the quattro mid engined to beat the other mid engined 205 and S4. When Audi/vw people learnt about the quattro the project was ended.
Thought this was a museum car but seem to be used occasionally ;)But then I knew about (and seen) the Skoda Group S development LR. Which sort of ended as VW were shown what skoda could do. As I mentioned before my friend has a group B skoda 130LR and there are some great stories about that.
So who remembers group S rally cars? If you don't, I don't blame you. Group S was to go on from group B. From 200 homologated examples to be built only 10 homologated examples had to be built. The group was cancelled when group B was cancelled.
Fiat created the Lancia Experimental Composite Vehicle 2. Based on the 037 (no got the wrong it based on the delta S4). The 1.8 twin turbo engine had exhaust and inlets on both sides of the head. So each of the twin turbos could feed each side of the single head.
