  • Yeah, if my understanding is correct, the energy crisis is global, the Tories didn't listen to advice about expanding gas storage capability (in fact they shrank it) and Brexit might have put the UK in a position where there might be more price volatility compared to the EU, but I'm not entirely sure why.

    I think I read somewhere that Russia has turned off a number of gas taps to Europe in recent months too. There are a lot of layers to this.
