Our (lack of) gas storage, and therefore exposure to market volatility is definitely a result of the Tories allowing us to arrive at the situation we are currently in. Not Brexit.
But Brexit is the cause of the increasing French rhetoric around cutting off our access to their electrical power in return for us locking their fishermen out of their current territories around the Channel Islands. We generate electricity mainly with wind and gas, less electricity flowing from France drives up our requirement to generate our own. Better hope it's windy!
