definitly that's a plus, you will have to carry it.
but to be fair all aluminium 14 bikes will all be the same weight, roughly. islabikes are the ticket if you want good quality, frogs after that, equally as good but less mumsnet. -
They're great bikes - the weight, for one, but a belt drive for kids is a no brainer.

Cheers both... I'd just been recommended the early rider as it's light and I can foresee me having to carry it a fair bit once we're out in the field...
