very nice.
I've just started saving the canti by buying a focus mares, planning to build it in similar fashion ! also on the lookout for a cx brakeset
surely 9000 derailleurs would be a nice and not too spendy tweak to the six13 -

What you thinking on brakes? I've gone TRP CX9's. I used to have cheap tektro mini v's and they were plenty strong enough. Can't be bothered with canti's.
Hmm, the six13 had full ultegra and I wanted a bigger chainring and ended up getting these on ebay. Not sure I'm bothered enough to change the derailleurs.
I've still got the ultegra cranks tho - I could in theory go full ultegra on the CAADX. But i'd need new levers, and the current tiagra setup has it's benefits.

i'm not thinking much about the brakeset as i don't have much experience with one type or the other, apart from some random deore ones on a 26" mtb conversion. i had some shorty ultimates which i sold dumbly, those trp cx9 look very nice and are not toooo spendy.
what iss the ratio on those ultegras ? i'd like to go compact or semi-compact as the bike is destined to real mountains, hopefully.
if you want, i need to have a look at the spares box, but i have 6800 levers i believe as well as 9000 derailleurs. provising i mange to switch the caad5 above to sram -

urgh, all tempting, lemme have a think. Maybe the derailleurs. My ultegras are 50/34. Not dead set on selling - the set on my gf's bike are towards the end of their life so they'll undoubtedly come in handy at some point....
And if i'm upgrading levers, I may as well go DA9000 on the six13 and use those 6800s!

it's all on my yellow caad at the moment, worth noting the rear derailleur has c-bear ceramic pulleys : )

I must try with alloy rims and tyre. With tubulars and zipp 202 wheels didn't work. The only problem was the support for front derailler

Thought this frame was too small but have decided to give it a go… loved the first time out on it this morning.

love it!
Did you manage to built it with 28c? I ask this because it seems that your bike has 28c.
I tried 28c s-works tubular but the support for the front derailleur don't let it :(

Looking at how low your pads are set i'm guessing the FD will be main clearance issue. Might have a knackered 30c G-one to test if you're near Sydenham
my initial thoughts too... but will prob stick with the silver for now as otherwise it means borrowing the seatpost and saddle from the six13...
