What makes you think it needs "treatment"?
Or do you mean to fix/replace holey timber (batman!) for costmetic/strenght reasons?
Just spraying, some floorboard are really fucked and one fell apart. We removed a vinyl floor when we moved in and had the originals sanded down and they are showing signs of woodworm, prob historic, but no idea if still active. Any experience?
Unless the wood is damp it won't be active.
