Did you find anything on this in the end?
There are some rods available in 10mm diameter but I couldn't find anything as nice as those.

No luck - found this thanks to @tbc's cafe rod search suggestion but it's too bulky and with the brackets looks too industrial imo

Any idea where to find a rail and bracket like this? Have searched but everything seems to be either a lot chunkier or white plastic
