First south west league race, middle distance triathlons really didn't prepare me for this 🤢
Super fun all the same, something uniquely childish about rolling round in the mud for an hour.

At least you had some petrol...
I'd loved to race at Herne Hill today, but I'm not cycling there and back from Essex. -

Was great seeing faces I knew today.
Would be great if I could find my shed key.

That happened pre covid although there is plenty of fuel up in Bolton, which is nice as I have to drive back to London in the morning

Have you tried the shed door?

Is big Bob the steep climb before the giant concrete Herne hill sign? I was wearing a Brixton jersey but I doubt you were looking at the crowd.

I've got a notion to take the kids to the Zonhoven world cup at the start of half term. Does anyone know where or when the tickets will be available? The UCI website could barely have less info at the moment.

Just buy them at the gate.

Ah, thanks. I did wonder if it would be something like that. We'll want to see the womens' race so hopefully that means we will be there earlier than most so shouldn't have to worry about it selling out.
Is it the sort of thing that can or does sell out anyway? there must be loads of space away from the main sandpit. -

The only bit of the course that will be really packed out is the beer tent.

perfect. my kids are quite a bit too young for the beer tent so it sounds like we will be fine.
Milton Country Park near Cambridge in the Eastern Cyclocross League. Should've ridden there - I'd have made it in plenty of time.
