I just scored a 12 speed cassette. Shame I didn't play roulette today.

I see that lots of roadies (incl me) are now using MTBs.
I think the fault here is not enough MTBers talking about suspension and dropper post service enough to deter them.
This is like how people dont talk about nursery costs before having children.
MTBers do better, be more open, stop us coming into your world and having to buy 50 specific fucking tools and foam seals and suspension grease and suspension oil ffs.

You need neither a dropper nor suspension for Kent XC rides.

I need it to do cross practice in mountsfield park

My hardtail has minimal servicing requirements and just keeps working.

i was talking about a hardtail !!

It might just feel that way, compared to the other bike

to be fair servicing dropper was piss easy, I have once bled reverb in the past and there is absolutely no need for a dropper to be hydraulic

service
You must be new here
-
• #21688
Aren't you meant to just throw it at your mechanic?
-
• #21689
Aren't you supposed to put your mtb up for sale on ebay or pinkbike when it needs fixing?
-
• #21690
I just wash it and lubricate the chain. I should send the fork off for a service but keep not doing so.
-
• #21691
You've already taken the fork apart once. I'm sure you could do it again to refresh the oil

I really like the look of these, but they're £! and I don't want to get the wrong size - anyone know of a place that will have these available to try on?

These look great. I'll be on the lookout for AliX version that lasts a single winter

Jokes (sort of) aside, I instantly looked at cheap waders and am now wondering how they can't be a good option in the worst weather. For commuting more than MTB.
No bike hire suggestions sorry, but check of Puddletown - straight down A31 from New Forest. QECP isn't that far either. Again, not sure on hire.
If you end up at Windhill, don't be afraid to go into the woods surrounding. Lot's of trails to the north of Centre Parcs and then go down to Shearwater. Can easily cover 20+ miles in there.
