When the coverage started it was superb.
Our definitions of superb obviously differ - no commentary when it finally went live, missing the winner's post-race interview in the velodrome and missing the decisive moment in the race doesn't make superb for me.
I don't think that was all the Aso's fault. My coverage had commentary from the moment the coverage started (with Ant McCrossan, so it's not all good) and post race interviews were just fine.
No definitely it was Eurosport/GCN (don't know exactly who) but it's just part of a wider level of inferiority and shitness around the coverage. Then you go on Twitter and it's full of mansplaining about how it was the first one give them a break etc.
