  • This looks amazing. Your pic is a million times better than the other shots. Before I didn't really get the appeal.

  • Also 2nd hand the depreciation is fairly chunky.

  • Cheers. Citizen also seems to have it at 40mm. May try and have a look at it.

  • Picked up a new strap for the IWC as I got fed up waiting for the easX-change straps to come into store in 21mm.

  • Cheers, that seems pretty definitive. How do you find it?

  • Forgettable.

In the best way: very comfortable and unobtrusive. I also appreciate the legibility.

That being said, I haven't had it long and it's not suitable for (my) work, so doesn't get much use.

  • I’ve had mine a couple of years now and absolutely love it. Looks great on loads of different straps though I’m not convinced with the current one. Keep an eye on H Samuels website as they regularly have both the strap and bracelet version with heavy discount.

  • Another option you may want to consider is Boldr - they do some really nice 38mm titanium mechaquartz watches like the venture GMT and the field medic (about £225 I think).

  • 🤓 was hiking in the pitch black in the middle of nowhere so had a 1000 lumen torch with me. This was the lume after about five seconds of torch light being shone on the watch 😅

  • I kind of miss that watch. Looks great on you 👌

  • You got the later one with the lume at 3 o’clock!

  • Quite like this;

  • They’ve had the lume at 3 for a while now due to ISO whatever whatever. Actually think it looks correct versus no lume at 3.

  • Thank you. It very much fits in with my #aesthetic and lifestyle and I’m not sure what else would until I spend a lot a lot more. Maybe that’s a fun thing to aim for for my 30th in 2023.

  • Certainly looking forward to that :-)

  • Cheers and @Scilly.Suffolk Definitely think I'll go and have a look at one.

@DanM those boldr ones are nice. Venture GMT is a possible.

  • I notice, haven’t seen one in the flesh yet, think it look more in keeping.

  • Lolz at the price - is that what a 4 year old ETA Tudor goes for? You could get a 1960s snowflake Tudor sub for that…

  • Appears to be only the black bezel that has doubled in value.

    Still prefer the red.

  • Didn't everyone say this?

I'm sure some one on here bought two. One to wear one for the safe.

  • As a man who owns one I hope so. A lot of the pricing for that model seems rather optimistic though.

The black was only released for a very short run before it got replaced by the one with the in-house movement.

  • Talking of values, Chrono24 tells me that my Seamaster 1948 has shot up (to £147 less than I paid for it, but still - better than where it was), anyone know why?
