Do you do that in situ or are they took out and done in a workshop?
I do that in a workshop and I leave plywood in the empty boxes. I'm working on having some spares for my local window sizes.
There are a lot of nice looking replacements around now. The way I do them keeps a lot of the originals so I guess it's more eco friendly.
