  • The braking force onto the caliper will want to push it forward, against which the two stubs will work in bending rather than push/pull, generally less stiff. I'd expect chattering

  • Nah, plenty builders have tried similar with much success. It works against the loads. Look at the size of those tubes!
    Now remember how many brackets people use to prop up caliper for a bigger rotor

    Really lovely build. That rear dropout is lovely and clean. One of my favourite bikes in quite some time
