Tempted. Would be a pretty forum move to build a bike around a set of rim brake tubs
-

I'm not sure me or my basement can sustain 3 tyre systems D:
I am tempted though, But I only have the brakes, and not a bike to put them on thus far

What you got?
-
• #8831
If they were proper SS wheels I would have been all over them
-
• #8832
I think @ Howard might still have an entire gravel bike he could sell you
Sold! 👨🏽⚖
Damn emoji fail

Curse all you small people and your bike ownership interchangeability
-
• #8834
Ay, I'm not that small, no offence to the small CXers, I know we have a few on here.
Edit: my road bike is a 53.5 though, is that small 🤔
-
• #8835
I'll dig them out and post the wheels here

Talking of wheels, anyone interested in these?
Hope Pro4 hubs laced to Light Bicycle tubular rims, with Challenge Chicane tubs. I’ve got three pairs of these and these never get used, I’ve literally done 10 miles on them. I think £350 is a fair price.
Collection in Beckenham, or I could bring them to Herne Hill tomorrow or Crystal Palace next Sunday.

What axle width?
-
• #8838
Good point, thanks. They are thru axle, 12x100 front and 12x142 rear. I probably have QR end caps that would fit too.

ah sorry, I thought/hoped they might be some blingly carbons. Not sure I'd train on 10 speed tubs, but thank you all the same

• #8844
I’ll take them. HHV tomorrow?
-
• #8845
They've gone I'm afraid. Someone DM'd me within minutes of posting.

Saved me £350 then!

Well, no cross racing for me today after all. It took me nearly an hour and a quarter to drive the 15 miles to the venue, on a country road which is mostly NSL, so I missed signing on. This country is so fucked at the moment I'm wondering whether it's worth bothering to leave the house.

Bummer, where were you racing?
I drove for 90 mins to a race only to find I'd left my skewer on the car park wall at home after putting my bike in the boot. Happy days

• #8849
I'm glad to see at least cyclocross dad managed to successfully take part in a race today
