Yep, that definitely would've helped with the 4 snakebite punctures I got on Day 3. Stupid inner tubes.

Non-tubeless tyres and not enough time to properly test a new tubeless setup in any event. I didn't fancy setting off across remote Scottish moors on an untested tubeless setup.
