At the start of the trial the BBC called him a “former Police Officer”

All police DNA and fingerprints are collected when they join. For discounting at crime scenes mostly

He's not a police officer, he's the elected Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Allott
Previously stood for the Tories for Parliament but has never been successful.

But I agree, fuck him.

Pig-adjacent rather than pig, I stand corrected
-
• #66708
Hopefully the people of North Yorkshire will vote him out next time those pointless commissioner elections are held.

Any news on super quiet sexual predator Prince Andrew.

Cressida Dick went from the Met to MI6 and back to the Met and no-one knows what she did there or why she was moved and it's never been officially recognised it happened.

I believe he has surfaced from hiding away in Balmoral now he can’t hide from being served by the US legal team any more. And he has hired some different, super-expensive, make-it-all-go-away lawyers also.

Wasn't "former" when he did it though, was he.

Longer hours, more OFSTED and more testing, this is what teachers have been demanding right?

Can’t believe how long he’s avoided this for. Anyone else would be in prison by now

There really is a case for all dna being taken, I know it infringes civil liberties but wow. What a monster.
The part that got me was that in the note he left he'd said that he had got control of his "impulses" and hadn't done anything since 97. Impulses... what a word for it.

Money + lizarddom = immunity, it seems…

Well if you look at Epstein, he did pretty well. Even when he did his first stretch.
So I think he's doing about how you'd expect for a rich person.

Department of transport sends letters to Germans living in the UK to ask them if they don't want to start a new career as lorry drivers.
Including investment bankers.
Old German drivers licences allow you to drive lorry's up to 7,5 tonnes, 19,49t with a trailer.Unfortunately I don't have this anymore because the Germans took it away when I transferred my Swiss licence to Germany.
Would have made the dream of living in London more feasible. Apart from the fact that I like Berlin, and have a girlfriend that doesn't share my love for London.
Oh and I hate driving trucks.https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/hgv-lorry-driver-shortage-germans-b1930558.html
