With pain in the heart: my Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra "Kelme" (Columbus Max) - SOLD

selling one of my most beautiful and rarest framesets: a 1991 (or 1992) Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra in Team Kelme livery. The frame is made from Max tubing so this is really what one calls "hens teeth". Selling it because I don't manage to get the position right (it's a 55 ctc and I need a 57). I gave it a final try earlier this year but after a couple of months I went back to my Master Extra Light.

Paint is original, frame has hardly scratches but one very small ding in the top tube (left of the "corsa extra" decal on this photo so hardly visible).

Asking 750 € for the frameset. The (pitted) Chorus headset, an original Merckx cage ànd Merckx bidon are for free.

Also have a semi-complete 9 speed Record Titanium groupset I can sell with it (reard mech, front mech, calipers, Chorus BB, 10 speed crankset, brifters and aero seatpost).

What length is the top tube? I'm hoping it's too big for me.

Top tube = 55 cm CtC
Seat tube = 55 cm CtT

Head tube is 140 mm. I'm in Belgium (where all the good Eddy's come from 😉).

If you could be persuaded to split and post to London, I'd love to give that bottle cage a new home. I've got a single silver one on my green Merckx, and have been looking for another one to make it a pair since I built it up a year ago, but have had no joy on my search so far. Was out on it today, but with only one bottle range is restricted, so had to rush home so I didn't die of thirst, or might have been the rain that made for a early return home, bloody typical, it wasn't forecast and I'd cleaned all that chrome this morning, bah :)
