When I did a 40km run at midday in August, I made probably the only sensible decision of the day and covered my entire body in vaseline. It absolutely helped.
I put some under my left arm where tshirts seem to chafe, on my nipples, my right inner thigh and sometimes somewhere more private if I'm wearing tight shorts.
