    gh: "you really need to go and get tested"

    dad: "no she spoke to her doctor on the phone and she [doctor] doesn't reckon it's covid and if it is, she's probably not contagious anymore"

    gh: "... your doctor fucking what?!"

    i'm fucking livid.

    i've managed to convince them to go get tested.

    I was at a wedding with a GP this weekend. They are adamant they and their practice are doing face to face again.... despite my personal experience and online media story's.

  • Finding both those statements weirdly oppositional:

    A negative test doesn't invalidate the need to get tested? (Or that going for a test is 'correct'.)
