  • Old: Butterfield Green down there in Stokie or is it Shacklewell, and site of the first brickflat.

    New: No milk, no butter.

  • What are we looking for now? Another brick flats? Is that a close-up from the new location?

  • The brick flat is from the old location at Butterfield Green.

    Clue for new location

In times gone by, the milkman of human kindness would leave an extra pint. But you can't bank on that now.

  • There must be two in Butterfield then. My one was to the right of the grey door, a bit clearer in this Ludwigesque photo

  • Ah, my one was just by the entrance off Allen Road, I didn't spot the one by the door.

  • So the tag is still on. Yours must be really new Chas as I can't find it on any brickflats account.

  • Will, are you saying my tag doesn't count? The pic in my second post is the right location?

The brickflat one was just a teaser...

  • Yeh, you're right, you got it by accident as it were. Weird coincidence that there are 2 there now.

  • Maybe the one on Allen Rd is an imposter?

  • I get the reference in the new clue but not getting anywhere with it.

  • Some sources claim that a filthy stream once flowed by here.

  • Pints of milk are no longer to be found here, however pints of a different kind are available close by.

You would be wise to ask Jaega how she does it.

  • Call it the Oatmilk of tag-fu kindness...

Old, Bank Court, Shernhall St, E17
New: I think the filthy stream mentioned gave its name to this place.

  • Shernhall Street :-)

Site of the former Unigate Dairy milk depot and adjacent to an industrial estate featuring, among other things, Wildcard Brewery's tap room, where Jaega Wise presides over the brewing although they've moved that off site now.

  • Thank you, edited. I had no idea what the milk clues referred to, but took a punt on the stream, as it were. There was an old milk depot near me but I didn't recognize it

  • It's open tonight if you want to get your Fille of Japanese pancake goodness...

  • I might get it today while the sun shines.

  • I have been trying to think of other gastro sheds to follow on from this.

  • OLD: some crappy neo-Georgian slop trough in an old scout hut. Drayton rd/Grove Green rd.

  • NEW: been wanting to do this one for a while but it was being renovated. I might make myself unpoplar but I'm not giving a clue.
