  • So, the spa cycles own dyno hub does seem to be unique in what looks like being very easy to change between bikes with a different axle setup by just changing the end caps, as per this kit for £12

    Having spoken to SJSC, they say there is a similar thing for the Son hubs as shown below. This looks a bit more involved/complicated and expensive than the Spa option. The guy at SJSC said that not many people are aware of this kit. He said the main disadvantage of going down this route, is if you were touring, took the wheel out and lost one of those small spacers!....then you would be stuffed :-(

    I'm not ever so practical but that Spa kit looks like it would make the transfer over to another bike/axle very quick and simple.
