Project Hawk update! My old man very kindly agreed to pull apart an old 350 YPVS engine that's sat in his garage for the last 20 odd years. It originally came out of a drag bike and was extensively modified. So much so, that we never actually got it running....
It's a proper piece of kit! Turns out that not only does it have the TZ350 dry clutch conversion, but seemingly a TZ350 gearbox too. Bit weird as the TZ350 transmission is very different and not supposed to fit in the cases. Great if it does, as tuned two strokes are much nicer with a CR box to keep them on the boil and the Nova ones they make for the RDs cost 2.5k UK!
Anyway, at some point he's going to box up the cases, box and clutch and ship them over for me. After that, I'll be able to make a start on making it fit into the Hawk.
