Hang on. That’s some awful reporting there right? Absolutely no way of knowing who’s done this outside of some baseless accusations from Howard Cox and yet the headline and article mention militant cyclists and environmentalists several times. Even if it’s in quotation marks there’s nothing questioning it or remarking that he’s just pulling it out of his arse at any point.

I don't think people who have a petrol car sat outside with an empty tank are thinking about the environment currently - they just want something that works. I wonder if you can graph prices from Autotrader or eBay motors?
