It's that old 'seems to good to be true' rule again...

I was fooled, looking at it too late at night. Rookie mistake, never again

Some decent savings on Garmin’s birthday sale.
Think their non sale prices are maybe a bit higher than you can get stuff elsewhere but I just bought an Instinct Solar watch had £100 out so of which still made it about £50 cheaper than I could find it on any other site.

think so, curry's has it for 209£

• #4681
Oh do they, that’s what it was direct from Garmin.

Cheap motorbike style locks. I just bought 2 as I missed them when they were posted here before (Halfords? Lidl? Somewhere like that).
1.8m for £6.79
https://www.onbuy.com/gb/18m-chain-lock-bike-bicycle-heavy-duty-security-padlock-motorcycle-motorbike~c10972~p12127697/They do a 1.2m one for slightly more money. Strangely.

Had a couple of those. Snipped real easy, bikes saved by the third Magnum Plus lock.

Good to know. I'm not expecting super high security (given the cost). More something that looks the part. Will only be used on pub bikes.

Oh of course I mean any level of lock could probably be cut in a minute, depends who's out robbing that day. Just within 20 mins on a high traffic street, centre of Edinburgh, around 6pm, broad daylight scum bags with what must have been fairly small cutters made light work of them. As good as most light weight locks for deterrent but certainly not heavy duty as advertised.

Thanks for that, torque wrench replacement was overdue!

Not sure if this is a bargain or a deal (my first mtb buy ever) but I surprisingly found that wiggle gave me a free BB with the M6100 12sp deore groupset I bought :)
The ad says no

This has happened to me a few times over the years. Usually when buying an oem groupset from crc/wiggle. Description said no but bb always seems to be there.

I recently got a packet of haribos with my order after a while of not. Maybe there’s a kind soul somewhere in the packaging department.
-
• #4693
Oh I did before from wiggle but never had it ;( that was my lucky day!
However, all the original shimano packing (blue boxes) were missing -
• #4694
Yes haribo are back!

stratford cash converters @ £130
-
• #4697
If they're selling it for that, it does mean someone else cashed it in for a derisory amount. Is there a whiff of stolen about it?
-
• #4698
cash converters do have a bit of a dodgy reputation admittedly

They had some skinny tubs on sale earlier but I snoozed and losed
Bloody scammers, that would of been a wonderful bargain.
