Only to be used with traditional star nut in case of alloy / steel steerers. In case of carbon steerers you can only use it with the Enve compression plug.
I had the original version myself which I like better as it's matte and smooth instead of the new stepped design. Unfortunately I snapped it during a crash.

These integrated top cap/bolt from absolute black are nice (and only 5 grams! For the weight weenies)
I have the older version (top) which ironically at the moment is mounted on the heaviest bike I’ve ever ridden.
