• Our mates have just finished their place. They've got a 5yo and 7yo. Kids have their own play room and sitting room. Main sitting room is for adults. The kids can go in there, but there are no toys or kids TV allowed.

    Seems like luxury to me. But then in an ideal world I'd always chose a separate dining room too - which nowadays is tantamount to wanting an outside toilet. So maybe I'm old fashioned.

    Might be naive, but in todays lifestyle it seems like a good way of encouraging your kids to stay on the main living floor rather than spending all their time in their rooms.

  • I think having 3 living rooms is maybe the luxury?

    ‘The children are prohibited from entering the east wing, and shall be granted an audience with their mother and father via prior appointment’
