I have seen it suggested that depending how this unfolds, if it leads a big crash and contagion, you are more likely to see them attack Taiwan as a distraction and appeasement for domestic population

Is this new security pact, France getting upset opening the door for china to invade Taiwan whilst there is 'chaos' here, and before Aus can get a position to contribute?
