The UK seems set on becoming a US puppet state by tying its military and political resources to its relationship with the US. I wonder if the Aussies are doing the same.

I have seen it suggested that depending how this unfolds, if it leads a big crash and contagion, you are more likely to see them attack Taiwan as a distraction and appeasement for domestic population -

Is this new security pact, France getting upset opening the door for china to invade Taiwan whilst there is 'chaos' here, and before Aus can get a position to contribute?
