It can't be true. a ride in my hood on a day I've got a pass for?

i possibly joined a honey badgers ride in epping years ago. I can't remember. Anyway, I'll tag along if thats cool. Currently attempting to bed in a poorly assembled tubeless set up so will peel off if it keeps failing.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
The forecast is great, sunny spells and no rain!Meeting points are:
Pavilion Cafe, Victoria Park at 08:45, for an easy ride out along the canal
Chingford Overground Station at 10:00We will ride around the forest for 3 hours or so with a few breaks for tea and cake, which you should bring some cash for. The pace will be relaxed and we'll regroup after every trail.
Afterwards I'll lead a ride back to Victoria Park area, offroad, really really fun route.
Or you can get the Overground back from Chingford to Liverpool Street. -

I'm aiming to be there for the ride out from Victoria Park. Will be gravel biking in spandex

UPDATE - the Overground line Liverpool Street - Chingford is closed on Sunday for some naff reason.
Keeping the meeting points and times the same, please be aware of the above.
Both riding out and back is really nice and easy.
P.S. if you want food/drink from Pavilion please go at 08:20 or so, 08:45 is when we'll depart. -

Is Epping dry at the moment?
The choice between 35c cross tyres and 50c 650bois may greatly affect my enjoyment of the day
-
• #39
on the epping scale, Superdry
-
• #40
Epping is entirely unaffected by climatic conditions
Honest...

Also, if they not 33c, they're not real CX tyres ;-)

Yours and Andy's comments are slowly becoming one

Mhmm, tell 'em

CX isn't real anyway. It's just riding road bikes around on some grass
-
• #46
always fit the chunky tyres!
-
• #47
There is that but there's also the 30km of tarmac each way to get to Epping and the big tyres on the small wheels are heeeaaavy and slow.
We'll see. Probably will go with the fat ones because I think I need to swap forks to get my 700c wheels on and that's too much faff -
• #48
I'm sure you have the skills to fabricate one of these

Everyone will regroup at the end of the trail.
