• If comfort is your priority, I'd say it's fairly useless anyone here recommending this or that bike. Fit to you is going to be the key thing. Larger volume tyres (compared to your road bike at least) should be a boon, and something with fairly compact geometry for a bit more seatpost flex might be good? Double-wrapped bartape or gel pads under the tape might help.
    Another option might be a set of lightweight wheels and more gravelly tyres for your hardtail, maybe with a rigid fork?

  • I would just put a shock post on the hardtail and forget about the gravel bike.

    But that ain't as fun as n+1
