  • Having decided to give whey protein a go, I've just seen how much the stuff costs! Amazing for what was a waste product for animal feed until not long ago.

    Myprotein and Bulk seem to be some of the cheapest, once you've added their various discount codes and it still works out at about £15 per kilo of actual protein (their whey powder is only 82% protein).

    Gram for gram (in terms of protein content), its roughly the same price as chicken breast from Sainsburys. I appreciate that you're paying for the convenience of not having to eat an unfeasibly large amount of meat every day, but for some reason I was expecting the protein cost to be at least a little less.

  • Let us know how the myprotein mixes. Used it a few years ago an no matter how much shaking i did, the bottom resembled breadcrumbs still.
