Iāve tried this one, itās surprisingly nice. No idea as to longevity, weather proofness.

As far as I can tell from the Web, I much prefer the Riten.

How much longer until they make a frame pump designed for high volume instead of high pressure. It seems like it would be ideal for wide tubeless tyres. Can't they just make the lezyne mico floor drive in a nice form factor? What's the hold up.

After making this post about a Gravel Specific Frame Pump I immediately went to sleep where I had a dream that I found a CO2 inflator in my handlebar bag.
Awoke in a cold sweat, commuted to work in the rain. An uneasy feeling permeates the day.

I just bought a couple of ā¬7 items on eBay. Obviously the postage came to more than the items, but they are things I canāt get over here. The question: eBay charged me VAT on the postage as well. Is that correct?

Yes, "postage and packing" is a service which attracts VAT, even though bare postage stamps don't.

I need some chainring bolts with a 5...5,5mm sleeve length. Like these https://www.bike-components.de/en/Race-Face/Chainring-Bolts-p16123/ but from a UK shop.
Any suggestions?

Swrve?
Thanks for the suggestion, not too keen on all Nylon / Spandex material though.

Ring Spa cycles would be my advice, lots of bolts on the website but probably easier to chat to them.

What are my mudguard options for front wheel if I have no clearance between the rim brake caliper and tyre to fit a conventional road bike guard? Cheers.

- Change the forks
- Cut down raceblades or something like https://www.wiggle.co.uk/sks-s-board-front-road-mudguard
Are you trying to stop the water hitting your face (in which case you need something in front of the forks) or hitting your body/feet (in which case you need something behind the forks) or both?

Thanks @Greenbank and @PhilDAS.
@Greenbank : Both ideally. I had thinner tyres and full mudguards fit that fine and I was happy with that setup, it kept things very dry. I just bought one of these for the rear understanding it probably wont do as good a job, but the benefit is to remove it quick. I'd like something similar for upfront, easy to take off when it isn't raining. Think maybe one of those downtube mudguards might work or the one you linked. I was trying to find visualisations of where water gets kicked up from wheels to see where I had to cover with the guards. Didn't have much success.

Or are they both shit somehow / are there others I should consider (I do not have any options to mount on the fork / frame of the road bike).
Thanks! -
• #109921
Having used both, the longs are better.
