  • Incredible.

  • Seriously keep me posted about the yokes. Even a one off would be cool.

The camping photos are great. I’m useless at documenting rides with my kids, I need to do that more.

  • These are all taken with my phone (Samsung Galaxy S21) I've gotten lazy and never bring my camera around anymore.

If you really keen on the yoke I suggest expressing interest to Sam via IG or contact@stayercycles.com. If enough pressure him maybe he will cave in :-)

  • wow! amazing stuff! great summer by the looks of it!!!!

  • Thanks. Yes it was. But I fucked up my knee pushing all that weight up hill. Going through rehab now :-(

  • Thanks 🙏
    I’ll drop him an email.

  • my daughter took long naps during the day.

We've had mixed results so far with that during our day trips this year and it has been a bit of a concern for longer adventures. Our July plans had to be re-adjusted anyway so we haven't been able to find out...
Glad to hear both of you had a good time, I hope the knee(s) heal fast!

  • Awesome man. Looks like a great time.

  • Those photos are wicked!

What tent are you using? Looks very nice!

  • We have been using the same seat since she's been able to sit up on her own. I think she feels that the seat and "our bike" is a bit of a safe zone for her.
When I bring her to the workshop and she is feeling like a bit of calm/alone time I roll out the bike and she just sits there. Sometimes with the telly on and a bit of snacks for comfort :)

And thanks. It really sucks. I've never been off my bike for this long before. It's scary

  • Thanks @josh and @Tijs

The tent is a Naturehike Cloud Up (if I remember correctly). It is a imitation of the Big Agnes tent.
@spotter recommended it to me. It has be really good, but zippers have started given up. They are not really happy to meet my two-year old :)

  • This is so cute!

  • Thanks. She is the best

  • Goes against everything I believe yet it makes me happy

  • I added some bottle cage bosses and rear brake cable stops to this Bianchi today. Should be on its way to its new owner soon.

  • Are you changing the rear spacing by cold setting it? Also, is it just a case of saw out the old dropouts and replace with thru axle? I'm sort of tempted to do the same with my Geekhouse. Need a London based builder who would be up for it though.

  • .
    Double post

  • I am sticking with QR dropouts on the rear. In my mind TA is not amazing enough for me to bother with replacement here...

  • Try Winston Vaz.

  • @revenant. I am TA on the forks mind. Just the rear rear dropouts are QR. It has never been and issue for me with slippage. Especially not on the rear

  • Whenever I think I might do it, I then quickly decide I want to keep it as is. Interested to see how this goes though.

  • Well, from a makers pov starting over is probably more sane :)

  • I spoke to Winston about it when he did the changes on this. He said there is often a lot of tension in the rear ends of bikes. This makes replacing the dropouts and the necessary respacing and keeping everything aligned a very tedious and sometimes painful job.
