Very much so. Basically, draw an arc from Blyth to Throckley. Anywhere North or West of that line is basically true blue til you hit Carlisle or the Scottish Border (probably on up to Edinburgh as well).

Whoa, really? I was up there for a friend's gig a few years back (I'm from Newcastle originally) and Blyth didn't seem especially different to how it was way back when.

Aye the Tories took the seat in the local election this year. Likely won't make a huge difference but it was a bit of a shock locally.

For a 40th wedding anniversary treat, stopped in the Slaley Hall Hotel near Hexham. Without realising that it is an actual golf club, it really is / was full of twats.

I went to spain for a day. Went to a couple of restuarants for food drinks.
