  • What are the options for watching it live these days? Just Dorna's own MotoGP pass? I normally catch the highlights (few mins of Moto3, few mins of Moto2 and basically the whole GP) on ITV the following Monday. Did you catch the Austria race a few weeks ago? That was mental

  • Some photo here… Halo saves the day again?!

  • 3 place grid penalty for todays crash for Verstappen

  • We get good highlights on Youtube and occasionally I spring for a race. I had the MotoGP pass until a couple of years ago but it was getting a bit expensive and it’s harder to watch the races live here with the time difference.

  • Seems a fair result.

I’m sure verstappen will learn from this incident like he has from all the others…

  • Yeah the price of the MotoGP pass seemed pretty ridiculous when I looked into it (back when it stopped being on Eurosport). Happy enough with a full race showing a day later for now. Thankfully it's a lot easier to avoid spoilers than with F1!

  • I'd of said racing incident but what do i know, just gutted because Hamilton was putting in a great performance given yesterday. I think Lewis did give way when he was in Max's position earlier in the race. Interested to hear what Max blurted out straight after, he was pretty pissed before it happened.

Anyway Mclaren 1-2 was awesome, was great to hear Norris buzzing with second as he looked competitive for first. Also happy for Bottas, he deserved a good day.

Right at the beginning, because Lewis is a dick like most racers are but he’s not a psycho who’s willing to crash anyone who doesn’t yield.

Iirc Verstappen was pretty vocally against the halo. Wonder if he’s realised how wrong he was.

  • Regardless of who was at fault for the actual crash, I think the fact that Max just walked off without checking on Hamilton is pretty damn poor. He'd just parked his car on top of the Merc, the least he could have done was walk over and check on the other driver.

  • Slight difference...

  • Lewis is quoted as saying that the halo is the worst modification to a car he'd ever seen. Fairly sure he's happy about that particular regulation now...

And God, of course. There's always God

  • BLESSED

  • Praise Jebus!

He's also quoted, at least a year ago, saying that his initial reaction to the Halo was wrong and that it's an important piece of safety equipment.

  • Let's not get carried away by making sense...

All aboard the Lewis bashing train!

  • You can't really imagine any driver, fan or whatever thinking the halo was a mistake after Grosjean's accident.

  • I've not really been a fan of Wolff this past year, but this did give me a good chuckle:

  • Not sure I've ever thought that Wolff is anything other than a rather clever bloke tbh. He's certainly not nearly as dislikeable as his counterpart at Red Bull

  • Truth. I often think about having the Horner / Halliwell household as neighbours. They would be awful.

  • For me Horner's always been a champion shit-stirrer. The Wolff thing for me was seeing him go from a laid-back team manager with a sense of humour asking for competition, then starting to slide down to the Horner level once the competiton arrived.

  • I don't think Lewis would have been so gracious had he been scrapping for his first Championship

  • That's not Lewis-bashing btw, he's a national treasure, I just think talking from a position of extreme success gives a man a certain serenity

  • I like Toto, man and band. He still seems like a fairly laid back supportive boss to me. It's not easy to support a juggernaut like Merc but he's definitely made it easier.
