If you aren't getting a small van then personally I'd get an estate. Don't really get the SUV things. A large estate will sleep two with the seats folded down and generally be more practical than a suv.

Parking where I live is in very short supply and very very tight road and tight spaces, I think I'd struggle with something that big!
