It was only called off because of the IPL. No Indian player has tested positive, but they’ve bailed out in case it spreads and they have to postpone the IPL, which will cost the BCCI millions. Seeing as the members of the BCCI all have their snouts in the IPL trough, they’ll do whatever the backers say. It’s ridiculous.

India want to reschedule it, which is going to be tricky given the IPL/etc.
But I think they're just buying time to try and avoid the inevitable forfeit.
