There are some companies that offer memory foam/gel type materials with all weather covers for motorbike seats, as like a seat cover that velcro's on. No idea of the names of them but they aren't that much, can probably work out what materials they use and fab your own.

I want to make my own cargo seats, what would people recommend as a cover / to upholster them in? Something hardy asf and waterproof.
Also IF someone has done this before can they recommend a good foam / cushion? Needs to be thick enough and comfortable to sit on for 30-40mins at a time I guess.
I used those kneeling garden pads things, but I didn't upholster it and I definitely wasn't going for bespoke craftsmanship.

I have a bunch of crashmat foam I salvaged from a climbing wall. You're welcome to a couple of square feet. It's pretty dense and hard wearing.
