Guess my tickets will be rolled over for next year. Bit annoying to lose £60 odd on tickets.
Guess they're trashing out if India forfeit, or the test is played next year when they're touring for white-ball cricket

India want to reschedule it, which is going to be tricky given the IPL/etc.
But I think they're just buying time to try and avoid the inevitable forfeit.

Watch the ECB suggest the 'First International Hundred!'.
A five match competition, with no PowerPlays or fielding restrictions. The ECB are just waiting for the Test grounds to put their bids in for hosting this 'World First'.

In other cricketing news, Yorkshire have said that the outcome of their investigation is that there's no institutional racism in the club, which I find hard to believe
-

Quite. Burying as it looks like they have done is a fairly strong indicator…
I can only really think of three possibilities for the timing of release and all point to racism:
1- complete coincidence (bullshit), so not being mindful of other goings on in the cricket world - therefore not caring enough about the impact of a landmark outcome for the club
2- deliberate attempt to hide it under another big story
3- coincidence of timing because of their own delay while they spin the outcome to their own end - by the admission of the investigators, it was ready before nowSpotlight on Yorkshire, obviously. But it would be very interesting to have investigations at other counties too and the ECB itself…
It was years ago admittedly, but I remember some unsavoury goings on and things said back in the Notts leagues when I played agegroup club cricket.

It was only called off because of the IPL. No Indian player has tested positive, but they’ve bailed out in case it spreads and they have to postpone the IPL, which will cost the BCCI millions. Seeing as the members of the BCCI all have their snouts in the IPL trough, they’ll do whatever the backers say. It’s ridiculous.

But they can cite England in SA as a precedent (not the same, but…).

Zummerzet melting under the pressure.

God knows how we won that!
Don’t think we will beat Kent though.

Good job you bat deeeeeeeeep.
Banton on the tricky third album this year after his previous success? Had a torrid time in the Hundred, apart from the odd innings, if I recall?
-
• #11262
We have been awful for a while in terms of batting.
Banton is an odd one, he was great, had a really good big bash a season or 2 ago, then went to the IPL and hasn’t been the same since.

So, reckon that Warks made the right decision to have a bowl then...

• #11264
Bloody hell
All four innings done by tea on the first day?
-

Here's to a winter of getting pumped 5-0 down under then

Something rather glorious about watching the associate nations in the T20 World Cup. Come on Papua New Guinea!
-
• #11267
Weird that they can play warm up games after the tournament has started?
India looking good. Livingstone’s hand not so much…

Always have done, not usually televised in England
Come on Papua New Guinea!

What a win for Namibia

My mate was at Scot/Bang and PNG/Oman the other day. He's teaching English in Saudi and had to take 3 flights each way. Said there's a smattering of mainly English expats and a bunch of Bangladeshis, as well as the home fans.
PNG did not bring a huge travelling support, apparently.

Talk about a hammering for the Dutch

What a win for Namibia
And again. Despite the ridiculous non-run-out.

Oh my God what the fuck is that from de Kock
