    I can only really think of three possibilities for the timing of release and all point to racism:
    1- complete coincidence (bullshit), so not being mindful of other goings on in the cricket world - therefore not caring enough about the impact of a landmark outcome for the club
    2- deliberate attempt to hide it under another big story
    3- coincidence of timing because of their own delay while they spin the outcome to their own end - by the admission of the investigators, it was ready before now

    Spotlight on Yorkshire, obviously. But it would be very interesting to have investigations at other counties too and the ECB itself…

    It was years ago admittedly, but I remember some unsavoury goings on and things said back in the Notts leagues when I played agegroup club cricket.
