New Irish CCS facility.
'Solves' CO2 emissions from 870 cars for $10-15M.
UK 20 million vehicles: 20,000,000/870 = $230,000 - 345,000M.
I'm estimating that is in excess of all the profits ever amassed by fossil fuel producers in the UK. I'm going to continue to shout at clouds while it remains untaxed.
870 cars seems so low, the move to E10 petrol last week was supposed to be the equivalent of taking 350,000 cars off the UK roads
Well it is only 4000 tonnes of CO2 per year. Maybe it is a proof of concept and can easily be scaled up with diminishing costs for a plant 10x the size?
