I'll be standing in for @BareNecessities to lead a lovely end-of-summer offroad ride in Epping.
The vibe is trundling down leafy singletrack, regular stops at the teahut - not MTBbros on huge jumps. Lots of options for bailout and refreshments.
You will need a bike with tyres 32 or wider, with a bit of tread. The ideal bike would probably be a rigid mountain bike.
Bring the tools you need to fix your bike, and some cash for the teahut.
Will be leading a feeder ride out and back from Victoria Park/Hackney Wick area, all offroad.
some cash for the teahut.
If you forget cash the place over the road accepts cards. I went there once, felt like I was cheating on Mandy.
Think I'll come for the first bit, then bugger off to Cambridge early afternoon.
