Their road bikes had basic OEM-only Easton wheels which you couldn't get new freehubs or replacement for when they failed. They had to be shipped to the Netherlands (IIRC) to be fixed then shipped back to the UK and that took forever as you can imagine.
This was years ago, there's been some positive feedback on here so maybe it's better now.

Cube's are such a mixed bag, some models are absolutely fine, good spec kit for the price and no surprises. Others are a living nightmare, plastic cable guides that break every time you look at them, non existant warranty (I have THREE new Cube Hybrid's/mtb that I did not sell to them, other shops did, and have just ignored the customer, because Cube distributor ignores them) and don't work as the gear cable stops are completely sub standard. One some we can work it around by running full length outer inside the frame, on others its only possible to zip tie the outer cables to the frame (ugly as fuck, not acceptable IMO on a new bike) and change the front mech to a side swing MTB job in order for it to vaguely work.
Never seen one of their cargo bikes, the pricing for a double battery bosch cargo setup is incredible, I literally cannot see anything coming close to that in terms of price, but I hope that the quality of the little things (cable stops, handle bar raising solution, steering arm stuff) is actually useable and not junk.Local shop to use sold a business/commerical user a Ridgeback cargo bike (looks like a Bullitt), 4 months already replaced... Freehub, freehub and then rear wheel entirely, front wheel, front fork headset bearings (both), steering gear lower headset bearing, pedals, stem (creaks like a mother). Its done 800 miles in 4 months which is low use as well.
So yeah, gentle family use probably OK, but not for commercial or heavy use. Shop he got it from disowned the customer within the 1st month as it was commercial use and stuff was already starting to fail.Goes for all things, would only buy from someone you know is sound, or you can at least get at. Buying online from some of the larger companies (many are absolutely sound btw!) means you have bought at distance/large retailer problems when it comes to what should and shouldn't be warrantied.
