Edinburgh tourist route

Going to be in Edinburgh soon. Thinking of bringing my bike, not sure if I'll have time but does anyone have a recommendation for a route? Shorter is fine and preferably around the city itself rather than out in the wilds, if it goes past some nice coffee places so much the better.

It's literally my job but for quite a bit of money as a guided tour with all the factuals etc

Add the loop up and around Arthur's Seat and that's a good'un. The Old Town isn't overly bike friendly especially with lots of punters about.

Thanks so much, an absolutely amazing route. I got coffee and William & Johnstone s in Leith and ended with sriracha mayo frites from Frites. Have tipped the forum a couple pounds in thank you.

Ah nice, you got the weather for it too. I was about with a couple from down south, may well have crossed paths :)
