  • Semi-solid tyres have been around for decades (well solid tyres since bikes were invented).
    They were popular where I grew up because of the jacks and puncture weed and it's flat so the fact they're dead and slow didn't bother anyone because they didn't have to stop 5x on a ride to fix p_nct_res.

    I assume there's some newer, nicer ones these days (I'm thinking blue foam for some reason)

  • His look pretty nice, bv no idea how they ride. A bit harsh i think. They last him 2 years of daily commute though so i gues better for the environment even if they do shed micro particles or similar...
