But they usually are with Shimano/Campag factory wheels, as is the case with many spare parts. Whole things get big discounts, parts don't.
Re-rimming factory wheels is nearly always more trouble than it's worth, and in the case of G3 Campags all the more so as you have to get custom drilled rims

yes, should be possible to rebuild the hubs to another rim. are they straightpull or traditional j-bend spokes and is it this freaky G3 lacing ? and replacement rims shouldn't be the same price as a whole wheelset but what do I know
