For sale: S-Works Allez Ultegra road bike

Posted on
  • Selling my super fast and comfortable S-Works (the high end edition bikes from Specialized) Allez. The frame and super light and the Ultegra groupset is slick, lightweight and great for both climbing hills, racing, or commuting. Really strong Fulcrum Racing 5 wheels to finish it off.

The groupset is 3x10 (30 speed) 6703 Shimano Ultegra the premium line from Shimano (the rear mech is a 105 replacement). Freshly serviced and indexed and running smoothly. The Ultegra brakes are very powerful and the wheels are hardly used with no noticeable wear on the braking surface from new.

The condition of the bike is excellent - the frame itself and forks have zero scratches and even has the original S-Works bottle cage bolts :-) Seat post and BB freely moving with internal brake cabling.

This bike would make a perfect commuter bike so I'll include the pedals, or it'll be equally as comfortable set up as a proper road bike ready for anything.

The same frame is still sold today so read up on it here: https://www.specialized.com/gb/en/s-works-allez/p/51792

  • The sizing on S-Works is often confusing, and there are no stickers on the bike, so check out these measurements of the bike to make your sizing judgements!

  • This is a size 58

  • Is it? Ok thanks I'll update my listings! Certainly feels smaller IRL than a 58 which also factored in to my thinking. You know this from specialised Specialized knowledge?

  • I've always lusted after one of these frames but unfortunately I'm far too short for this one. GLWS

  • pretty much all frames are listed on geometrygeeks.com, just google yours and you will see that a 205mm headtube matches a 58 Allez S-works.
This would make it a XL frame, since a 54 is usually a M, 56 a L, etc. The seattube height is rarely relevant with modern compact frames, the (horizontal) top tube length is usually the reference for sizing.
