Thanks @spotter :)
Update. Had some garage time so now have more details (and pics) on the parts I can bundle it with.
Wheels/tyres are brand new as mentioned. WTB i30 rims (states TCR on them so think they're tubeless ready) on Formula disc boost hubs. 6 bolt disc and standard shimano 9/10/11 freehub (also takes non XD 12 speed cassettes). Tyres are Vittoria AKA 29x2.2 but I don't think they're tubeless.
Cranks are XT with Blackspire Snaggletooth oval 36t NW ring. Cranks are well used but functionally spot on. Ring is 2 rides old. Was going to sell it with a spare shimano HTII BB I have but decided to include my Chris King instead. It's seen lots of use, but it's a Chris King so no worries there. Can supply the as new Shimano BB if you prefer.
On one bars (780mm wide), stem (50mm) and grips, all brand new.
Looking for £700 for the lot. Postage at cost or collection from near Maidstone.
Also have some Deore brakes I could lob in for £25 if bought with the rest. Removed from the bike when I upgraded to SLX so they are a good length for the bike. Found here:

Also an XT 11-42t 11 Speed cassette. Another £25 if bought with the rest.

Thanks.

I’m glad I’m so in love with my Bfe Max so I’m not fuming that this isn’t my size!
This is a blinding price whatever package chosen.

Cor, any chance you'd split that BB and sell it seperately?
-
• #9
Ha, thanks for the interest. But no, I'm afraid not. It's offered to sweeten the deal for any potential buyers of the frameset etc. I'll definitely be keeping it and using it myself if it's not wanted with the stanton.

:)
You enjoying yours?

Not at all. It's done 2k (that's literally 2 kilometres, not some hippy shorthand for 2000 km) around the block and went into storage. Yes, I hate myself. But, reasons.
-
• #13
Ah bugger. Deserves to be ridden. I hope "reasons" sort themselves out for you asap and you get to clock up 2000km on it at some point. You'll probably do that in a single ride ;)

Tour Divide?
Challenge accepted.
Although I'd like to get some time in on it first. -

Interested in the cassette and brakes if they're available separately?
-
• #17
Thanks Sam. Hope you're well. You've been under the radar for a while.
-
• #18
Yeah maybe. But I think I'll wait and leave them as an option for any would-be stanton buyers first. If no interest in a couple of days I'll let you know and we can see if you're still interested. Thanks BTW.

Price drop to £690 for the whole bundle as pictured. £735 with the cassette and brakes.
Would make a great 29er mtb, bike packing bike, or as I often used it a flat barred gravel bike.

Do it. These are great.

Damn, if i'd known a couple weeks ago, I wouldve bought this! Bought a Sonder Dial frameset (in a similarish colour) with some hope purple bits. GLWS!

Still sounds like a fun project @damitamit Enjoy.
Update, the brakes and cassette now sold so no longer available as a bundle.
The rest still £690 and as an extra enticement I'll deliver in person anywhere inside the M25 or Kent included for that price.
Otherwise I might have to close this thread down and switch it to pinkbike classifieds where all the mtb bros reside. 👊

Swap you for a dented Kona A and a 4-pack of San Miguel?

Haha. I think we're good. Thanks for the offer though 🍺🍺
Stanton Sherpa 29er frame for sale. Had this from new and it’s been a brilliantly versatile and capable bike for me, so I’m almost certainly going to regret selling it. But as is my weakness (illness possibly) I’ve got an itch to try something different.
It’s what Stanton called a “Next Gen UK” frame. It’s boost 12x148 spacing and is a custom colour (Mocha Grey). Size is officially a small (their 17”), but with an effective top tube of 600mm it’s equivalent to medium in nearly all the frames I’m likely to replace this with. I’m 5’9” btw. It’s basically Stanton’s XC/trail model suited to 100mm forks. It will take 29er wheels with generous clearance or 650B+ wheels/tyres. I’ve used it with both 29x2.35 wheels/tyres and 650x3.0 tyres and it’s fantastic in all guises.
I’ve also used it in a more winter road/gravel format with a longer stem, narrower bars and a rigid fork and it’s fantastic like this too. You can see why I’ve enjoyed it so much and why I’m on the fence about letting it go.
It uses Reynolds 853 tubing although I’m not sure which tubes exactly are 853, but assume use the main tubes, not the stays. It’s internally coated to prevent rust and it has internal cable routing for a dropper (30.9mm diameter). Threaded BB a massive plus for me. It was £799 when I bought it in early 2019, although this spec with custom paint like this would be closer to £1k looking at their website now.
As I’ve said I’m a bit on the fence about selling it and what to sell exactly, but as a minimum I think I want to sell the frame itself with the Hope headset (purple - takes a tapered fork) and Hope seat clamp (silver). Also comes with the rear thru axle. But I might also sell it with the rigid Genesis fork which is aluminium, but light and is also boost 15x110 spacing.
Condition is good in that there’s not damage/dings/dents etc but it’s been used and so there’s a bit of cable rub and dulling of the paint in places from cleaning etc. Can take some close up pics if anyone interested to see more.
I’m thinking £550 with the Genesis rigid fork, Hope headset and Hope seat clamp, £475 without the fork but with the headset and seat clamp. I’m near Maidstone so postage at cost is doable if you can’t collect. Might be able to meet at a mutually convenient location depending where you are. Any questions, please ask.
Also have a number of other components that I could potentially package together to make it more bike shaped including brand new 29er boost wheels with tyres and possibly the XT chainset, 2 rides old 36t oval Blackspire NW chainring and almost new BB. The rest of the drivetrain and brakes I'm definitely keeping. Also have bars, stem, grips etc. If interested message me for more details on the other items.
A few pics of it in it’s different formats to follow….
