Doubling the cassette splines like that was clever, and the new e-tube plugs are impressively slim. Wiredless makes a lot of sense; a bit surprised FSA didn't patent it. Surprised to see fully wired is still an option, nice one. HyperGlide+ is cool, wonder if it'll trickle down? Might try a 12s chain to see if it's any quieter... Took em a while to bring ServoWave to the road, that's gotta suck a bit less.

Cranks, couldn't be more meh, but at least the huge right arm is gone. Annoying to see no backwards compatibility for chainrings too. And the Di2 button on the RD? You have to get off the bike to change shift modes or put it into adjustment mode? Seems a bit whack.

Would really like to see someone hack the firmware one of these days; it'd be nice to make my 9070 12s... If 12-28 12s cassettes are ever a thing.

  • Instead of us having a thread about the latest DA and Ultegra, I'm supposed to talk about it in a miscellaneous thread hundreds of pages long where there's already fourteen different conversations going?

    I don't understand this joint

  • You don't have to read the last hundred pages ffs. Your opinions would be welcome, plus it's not like anyone else is bothered discussing here.

  • 9100 and R8000 are like 5 years old…..

    Yes.

We don't need a new thread for every new version of product x.

If it was the old software, this would've already been merged.
