Thanks Milo, will PM. They did a few models in that livery. Was the paint as bad on yours? I thought I was getting a deal at the time because they knocked the price down but probably because they knew it was going to flake. I came to like the patina and maybe it helped keep it from getting stolen over two decades of London use.
Condor sold, gazelle still available
Hi there, I'm selling my fixed, which has languished for about 4 years since moving out of town, plus a gazelle dutch bike, an ongoing project that I ran out of steam on.
Condor Pista, c.2001, 7005 alloy, 59.5 cm (bb-top seat tube/ 56cm bb-centre top tube). Well loved and ridden from new by me, though most parts replaced along the way. Terrible original paint job that has flaked all over. Coppi steel forks, black goldtec track/ open pro wheelset (ceramic front rim), conti gator tyres, on-one chainset, mks gr-9 pedals with clips and mks double straps, unbranded seat post, quill stem and chopped down bars, tatty selle saddle, basil pizza rack. £250 SOLD but happy to be reacquainted with the market rate by someone who knows what they're talking about. Could split frame and wheelset. I have some drops with levers that I can throw in if required.
Dutch bike, 70s/80s, 57.5 cm (bb-top of seat tube; 55.5 bb- seat tube/seat stay weld). Gazelle but I didn't make a note of the model before getting frame and mudguards resprayed at armourtex in mint green powder coat a while back. 3spd Sachs Torpedo with coaster brake. Rideable already but with a few pending issues: bottom bracket (press fit) is slightly glitchy, old steel rims and cotter pin crankset have some rust, front tyre (37-622) holds air but needs replacing. Front caliper brake doesn't do much currently but new pads would prob help, rear coaster brake works fine, gearing slightly temperamental but can be coaxed to get the 3 speeds. £60.
All down near Hastings but could be delivered to London for the cost of the train (c.£30).
